From the time he graduated from Iowa State University, Commercial Manager Mitch Hansen has built his career in the fast-paced environment of grain processing and value-added agriculture. 

Mitch gained grain industry experience when he was growing up on his family’s corn and soybean farm near Alton, Iowa. Mitch grew his career in the ethanol industry working throughout Iowa and Nebraska for 12 years. Before joining Platinum Crush, he served as a specialty grains trader for a global grain processor building strong relationships with farmers, customers, and truck and rail shippers. Throughout his career, he has also handled inbound and outbound grain receipts and has managed truck, rail, barge, and vessel positions and logistics to support export operations. 

Mitch looks forward to working with the skilled team at Platinum Crush to help the company grow. He also appreciates the opportunity to reconnect with farmers from northwest Iowa and raise his family in rural Iowa.
