With 20+ years of experience in accounting, finance and audit positions in the manufacturing sector, Chief Financial Officer Trent Biederman knows what it takes to turn raw materials into profitable products.
Educated in business management and accounting at the University of Iowa, Trent began his career performing audit and review engagements with manufacturing and distribution clients. Throughout his career, he has worked with a wide range of manufacturing companies serving in roles as controller, finance managers, and corporate controller in the specialty chemical, renewable fuel, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Platinum Crush, Trent oversaw the accounting and financial reporting of 10 operating companies spanning the globe.
Trent knows how an efficient, effective accounting and finance department should operate. He also understands team building in the unique world of specialty manufacturing. Trent, who grew up in Humboldt Iowa, is excited to work with a start-up like Platinum Crush and help grow the company, which will benefit local, rural communities.
